The parasites flock to ogle, from nowhere they come;
In them, man’s nature shouts and rears
Its ugly head, drawn by the pooling of blood. How dumb
They are, how positively evil, as they say – “stuff the victims’ fears –
WE WANT BLOOD!” Oh! How they are ultimate scum
For their bloodlust: from them come no tears,
They care not, they are united with their peers
And stare wide-eyed at the carnage, the pandemonium.
Is there no civility, no respect for the poor souls
Who have suffered from a horrible fate?
This disease, sickness, pestilence spreads and rolls
On, and hungry jackals gather, hoping to sate
An awful appetite. The blood stirs the coals
To embers, to fires, which burn and fester within our souls.
